Built in 1766 as a place where the people of Bristol could come together, Bristol Old Vic now stands as the oldest continuously working theatre in the English speaking world.
A symbol of the pride we have in our city and what it can achieve, our Theatre remains a place of joy, discovery and adventure to this day.
Our historic playhouse aims to inspire audiences with its historic productions, both at home and on tour, whilst nurturing the next generation of artists, whether that be through our 350-strong Young Company, our many outreach projects, or artist development schemes.
Come and play.
