Boogie Pumps provides a way for children from all backgrounds and walks of life to take part in affordable dance classes. We value individuality and celebrate all our childrens abilities. Our wonderful teachers deliver a variety of dance styles, with classes focused on confidence building. We pride ourselves on providing a refreshing way for children to dance, get fit and maybe most importantly…have bags of fun! We also offer dance parties and a chance to partake in holiday camps where children have the opportunity to learn singing, dancing and drama.

Meet the Team

Musical Theatre Teacher

Amy studied Musical Theatre at Performance Preparation Academy (PPA), Guildford. Whilst training, Amy played numerous roles including Cinderella in Into the Woods and Campbell in the Drama school premiere of Bring It On – The Musical (Electric Theatre). Theatrical credits include Shell in the London revival of the Pet Shop Boys’ Closer to Heaven (Union Theatre), in addition to numerous concert appearances including Lead Vocalist in West End on the Rock (Jersey Opera House) and Guest Vocalist at the MTV Charity Ball.

Street Dance Teacher

Christina started dancing at the age of 6 at a Disco Dancing school. At the age of 10, she started training in s treet dance and hip hop and then soon afterwards joined a London-based hip hop dance company called Impact Dance, where she was introduced to contemporary dance. Her training continued at the Zoon ation Academy of Dance, Zoonation Youth Company, Ombrascura Dance and Boadicea. Christina completed her professional dance education at London Studio Centre, graduating with a B A (Hons.) in Theatre Dance, in 2017.

Acrobatics Teacher

Heidi Harris is an aerialist, dance teacher and performer. She graduated from The University of Winchester in 2010 with a first-class honors in contemporary dance and choreography. Shortly after she discovered the aerial arts at a local Creative Ar ts Centre and has been hooked every since. She now teaches acrobatics, as well as performing regularly at a variety of public and private events. Two notable recent events were The Autumn Festival in Surrey and The National Reality T V Awards in London.
