The charity’s aim is to educate both adults and children in the importance of horticulture, how to recognise, understand and care for plants, as well as an awareness of where and how they grow. Our education programme will help more people to realise the need to value plants as an important part of their lives. There will also be a broad approach to horticultural education where the Garden will provide inspiration for botanical watercolour painting, basket weaving, garden photography as well as more traditional horticultural courses.
