Bee in the Woods

At Bee in the Woods, we understand that the Early Years are the most important for development in a child's life and that early experiences set the foundations for lifelong learning and health.

We believe that nature and community both have a central role to play in these Early Years. Our Kindergarten's for ages 3-7 run from magical woodland locations and provide a unique Early Years experience for adventurous little ones. Holiday Clubs also run from our Kindergartens and we welcome children aged 3-8 to join us in the woods during school holidays.

We are also on a mission to connect families, nurseries and schools in Brighton & Hove to the GREAT outdoors by running engaging, playful activities. We deliver Forest School, Beach School, Outdoor Learning and Play sessions and Training for nursery and school staff.

Our popular Baby Bee Sessions run weekly from StanmerPark and are open to all under 5's and their grown-ups. Expect mud pies, dens, bug hunts, craft, exploration, stories, songs, adventurous free play and new friendships around the campfire!
