Welcome to the Junior Art Club, a place where young artists aged 4 to 7 can explore their creative potential in a fun and supportive environment. Our approach to art is all about play, learning, and growing as artists, building confidence with every stroke of the brush and every line drawn.

At the Junior Art Club, we aim to foster friendship among our budding artists as they embark on a journey of discovery through different mediums and techniques. Our goal is to introduce them to the wonderful world of visual arts, where they can unwind, have fun, and uncover the magic of creativity.

Our dedicated team of professional artists and artistic assistants are here to guide and inspire your child as they explore various artistic techniques and methods. Alongside like-minded peers, your child will develop not only their creative imagination but also critical thinking and social skills.

We're thrilled to offer two weekly Junior Arts Clubs this Spring:

1. After School Junior Art Club every Wednesday, starting January 10th, from 4:30 pm to 5:30 pm.

2. Weekend Junior Art Club every Saturday, starting January 13th, from 10:30 am to 11:30 am.

This year, we're introducing our Art Awards program, featuring Discover, Explorer, and Gold awards, designed to recognize and encourage the development of artistic skills and creativity.

But that's not all! This spring term, we're trying something different. Instead of the traditional end-of-year exhibition, we'll be embarking on exciting projects and events where our young artists will actively participate and help shape the creative journey. These projects will evolve throughout the term and be showcased at various external organizations and events, providing our budding artists with opportunities to shine beyond the club's walls.

We are especially thrilled to announce that we will be running special projects tailored to children with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND). Inclusivity lies at the core of our mission, and we are dedicated to ensuring that everyone can experience the joy of creating art.

After School Art Club 4-7 Years old

**Inspire Your Child's Creativity with Portfolio Art Classes!**

Are you in search of a nurturing and supportive environment that can help your child cultivate their artistic talents? Look no further than Portfolio Art Classes! Our program is tailor-made for children aged 8-16, fostering critical thinking, creativity, and formal art studies.

**Class Structure and Content**

Our classes are meticulously designed to cater to the unique needs of each student and are conducted in small groups to ensure personalized attention. Students are placed in one of three categories:

1. **Portfolio Juniors Group:** Ideal for younger children with artistic potential, focusing on skill expansion and confidence-building.

2. **Portfolio Plus Group:** Tailored for more advanced students, this group expands their artistic knowledge and guides them in building their individual portfolios.

3. **Portfolio Creatives Group:** Geared towards students pursuing advanced art studies (GCSE, A-Level, and degree level), we help develop a strong portfolio foundation and nurture creativity.

**Materials**

Our comprehensive curriculum covers various art forms, including drawing, painting, printing, and mixed media. We provide all necessary materials, including graphite, pencils, watercolor pencils, pastels, acrylics, watercolors, ink, relief printing, linocut, mono-printing, screen printing, collage, digital art, and projector.

**Inclusion Policy**

We firmly believe that art is for everyone, regardless of abilities or learning difficulties. We warmly welcome children with SEN and learning difficulties, and our classes are wheelchair accessible.

**Payment Options**

Select from a range of flexible payment options, including weekly direct debit, online payment for block bookings of 6 or 12 consecutive sessions, or cash payment at each class once your registration form is received and your child's place is confirmed. Register by January 6th to receive a generous 20% early bird discount.

**Art Awards Program**

We take immense pride in introducing our Art Awards program, featuring Discover, Explorer, and Gold awards, meticulously designed to recognize and nurture artistic skills and creativity among children aged 5 to 25. Our founder and director, Eliyah Qureshi, is a qualified Arts Award advisor specializing in SEN delivery.

Barkingside Art Club

Barkingside Art Club is an exciting new venture designed to bring us closer together as a community. 

The club provides a supportive space for local creatives, artists and art lovers to meet regularly with one another and share ideas. It is a friendly and enriching environment which hosts workshops and exhibitions thereby promoting each individual’s business.

Local creatives will also be given the opportunity to volunteer in helping children with special needs flourish through creative activities. Our artistic approach to teaching and learning is focussed on using art for a good cause.
