Spring & Summer Term Art Workshops for Juniors at Fullwell Cross Library
Join BAC’s Art Workshops for an exciting creative journey designed for children aged 4-7. Inspired by the techniques of great artists, these sessions encourage young imaginations to explore, experiment, and express themselves through art. Each week, children will discover new skills, build confidence, and create their own masterpieces in a fun and supportive environment.
**Spring & Summer Term Schedule**
Workshops take place every Wednesday during term time, with a short break for half-term. Sessions continue into the After School Club, providing a space where children can develop their creativity while making friends and enjoying hands-on activities.
**What We’ll Explore**
- Drawing with a variety of materials, from soft pastels to bold Sharpie lines
- Painting with watercolors, acrylics, and ink to bring ideas to life
- Printing techniques like relief printing, linocut, and monoprinting
- Mixed media, collage, and digital art for exciting new ways to create
**A Creative and Inclusive Space**
Our workshops are open to all children, including those with special educational needs. Every session is designed to be engaging, accessible, and inspiring, helping children to develop both artistic and social skills in a positive environment.
**Bringing Art and Sustainability Together**
This term, we’ll explore how art can inspire a more sustainable world. Using recycled materials and eco-friendly techniques, children will learn how creativity can make a difference.
**Arts Awards and Creative Growth**
BAC is a registered Arts Centre, offering children the opportunity to earn Arts Awards while exploring their artistic potential. Led by artist and educator Eliyah Qureshi, these workshops provide a space where young artists can thrive and take pride in their work.
