18 months - 3 years
babyballet is a fun, award-winning pre-school dance concept for girls and boys from 6 months to 5 years. With schools right across the UK, babyballet dance classes allow young children to enjoy the physical and social benefits of ballet, song and dance in a safe, caring, positive and informal environment. With a real focus on learning through play, every child can build their confidence and social skills, learning manners, discipline and respect while developing their basic ballet technique, coordination, musicality, balance, posture and rhythm.
Music, Dance & Drama
Miss Chloe has dance since a young age. Developing a passion for dance, she went on to perform in various shows and took certified dance exams. Being particularly rhythmical, Miss Chloe is currently working towards her IDTA Tap Associate Qualification. Miss Chloe adores her babyballet stars and cannot wait to share the magic and dance with the rest of the world.
Eva has been dancing since a young age,she trained at Masters Performing Arts College and graduated with a Musical Theatre Diploma in 2009. She then went on to work for Disney for 8 years as a performer in many different shows and parades around the world. Eva loved it so much that when she returned in 2016 she opened up her own children’s entertainment business called "Princess Gatherings" doing Birthday parties and Events. Eva is now studying to finish her ISTD in modern and tap.
Georgia teaches babyballet® classes and Tap, Ballet and Modern classes at the Leigh-on-Sea branch. She also teaches Street classes at The Evan’s Academy of Dance. Miss Georgia has her teaching qualification with the IDTA in the freestyle branch. She has danced since she was 3 years old and during this time she completed her ballet, tap and modern exams passing with distinction up to Intermediate level. She has also performed with the English National Ballet and Chelmsford Ballet Company in shows such as Coppellia, Sleeping Beauty and Beautrix Potter.
Katy has been dancing since a young age and has reached intermediate level in ballet and modern. She is a certified Contemporary teacher with I.D Dance. Katy teaches all the Evans Academy of Dance Contemporary classes and is also a qualified Primary School Teacher. Katy particularly enjoys teaching younger children and has frequently demonstrated an ability to bring out the shyer and less confident children.
Keiley is a member of the IDTA and holds a Level 4 Diploma in Ballet. She is a qualified teacher with the Arcobatic Arts Association and she has also graduated from St Marys University with a Degree in Primary Education, specialising in PE. Keiley has competed in various competitions across the country, performed in numerous shows and has reached up to professional levels in Ballet and Modern exams. She has taught children for many years and aims to inspire a life-long love of dance in every pupil.
Miss Leanne started dancing at the age of 5 at the San-Marie stage school. There, she passed major UTD qualifications in tap, ballet, modern and lyrical. At the age of 8 she performed in the Dick Whittington pantomime at the Towngate Theatre. During her time at San-Marie Leanne was lucky enough to take part in many amature productions in the West End and performed at The London Palladium, Theatre Royal Dury Lane, Her Majesty’s Theatre and The Royal Albert Hall. Leanne has also performed on an MCS cruise ship and even in Disneyland Paris.
Miss Natalie has always loved dancing! She achieved her Foundation in Dance Instruction in Ballet, then going on to study for a BA (Hons) Degree in Dance and Musical Theatre at The Urdang Academy in London, graduating in 2013. She spent years performing as the resident princess in the Worcester pantomime and worked at her childhood dream location, Disneyland Paris. Miss Natalie then returned to full time dance teaching, not only at Babyballet but for other local organisations. Miss Natalie thoroughly enjoys teaching and sharing her passion for dance, hoping to inspire a new generation.
Sarah has been dancing since the age of 3, has performed in various shows and competitions, and passed every exam with distinction. In competitions Sarah was awarded the highest ballet solo and duet mark in Essex. She has also performed numerous times at showcases at Sadler’s Wells theatre and Her Majesty’s Theatre. Miss Sarah also assists at the Evans Academy of Dance in all classes on a Sunday at William Edwards School, she covers various classes and choreographs routines for festivals, as well as teaching adult classes on a Thursday evening.
Shannon started dancing from the age of 2 and a half, training with The Lynn Lee (Poulton Lee) Theatre School. From this age she danced ballet, tap, jazz and modern theatre, obtaining her ISTD examination certificates. She later went on to study Performing arts at school, then furthering her studies in dance at college by completing a 2 year A Level qualification in contemporary dance. From a young age she found a love for dance and an even more rewarding feeling from teaching. She believes dance to be a magical world and a strong community of friendship.
