6 - 18 months, 18 months - 3 years + other ages
Babyballet® is a wonderfully exciting educational movement to music programme for pre-school boys and girls from 6 months to 6 years. Designed to encourage babies and young children to enjoy the benefits and joys of song and dance from a young age, babyballet® has built up a fantastic reputation for providing children with the opportunity to express themselves within a fun, safe and caring environment.
Music, Dance & Drama
Miss Beth started dancing when she was two years old, going on to studying for her I.D.T.A exams in Ballet, Tap, Modern, Street, Lyrical and Theatre Craft. She then did a two year course at Epping Forest College studying a BTec in dance and performing arts. It was at college when her love for teaching dance grew. She then did a year at Canterbury University studying dance education. She joined the dance company, One Youth Dance, and spent two years performing with them as a soloist. Beth is absolutely thrilled to be a part of the babyballet® team and is so proud of her little stars.
Miss Bethany started dancing at the age of 2, studying ballet, tap and modern. She then went on to complete her Extended National Diploma in Dance and Musical Theatre and has recently graduated from DNA Studio’s where she completed her teaching qualifications. Miss Bethany has performed at the ‘Harlow Playhouse’, ’O2 Indigo Arena’, ‘Her Majesty’s Theatre’ London and ‘Leyton Orient’ football stadium. Miss Bethany is delighted to be part of the babyballet® team and bringing the wonderful world of dance to her little Stars!
Brogan trained as a dancer at KS Dance graduating in 2010 with a Higher National diploma in Professional Dance, and teaching qualifications in Ceccheti Ballet, ISTD Tap and Modern. She then went on to perform in theatre shows, corporate events, film premieres, hotel shows, music videos and the UK based theatre show “Totally Tina Live”. She has put her teaching qualifications to good use with many years experience working in dance schools, primary schools and nurseries before starting her Babyballet® journey.
Miss Catherine started ballet classes at a very young age. By the age of sixteen, she had won a scholarship to train at The Arts Educational School, Tring in classical ballet. After two years at Tring, she won another scholarship. This time to train at The London Studio Centre. While training to be a professional dancer, she also qualified as an ISTD ballet teacher. Upon graduation, she joined The Vienna Festival Ballet and toured extensively throughout the UK and Europe. Miss Catherine is thrilled to be bringing the magical world of babyballet to all her little stars!
Ellouise started dancing at the age of 4. At the age of 13 she won a prestigious scholarship on the CATs (Centre of Advanced Training) dance scheme at The Laban Conservatoire in London. She then went on to complete her professional training at Doreen Bird College. She has performed with many professional dance companies around the country including the West End. Ellouise qualified as a dance teacher in 2016. She is very pleased to be a member of the babyballet® Team and looks forward to teaching and sharing her passion for dance with her little stars.
Miss Helen started ballet classes at the age of three years old. After many years of following the RAD syllabus, passing all her exams up to Advanced level, she was successful in gaining a scholarship to The Hammond School of Dance and Education in Chester. Helen then went on to train at The English National Ballet School and The London Studio Centre. Unfortunately, due to injury she was unable to pursue a career on stage but is now incredibly excited to be able to pass on all her training experience to our babyballet® stars. Helen is also a Mummy to two young girls, Emily and Sophie.
Miss Kathleen started dancing at the age of 6 and went on to train at The Centre Performing Arts College, where she gained her Diplomas in Theatre Performance and Teaching Studies. She also completed her DDI Qualifications in Modern and Tap. She has performed in many productions at various locations including 'Her Majesty's Theatre' in London. She is thrilled to be joining the babyballet® team and sharing her love of dance with all of her little stars.
Miss Kerry has been dancing since the age of three, studying ballet, tap, modern, jazz, contemporary, lyrical, street, Irish and Spanish. She has been fortunate enough to dance in some of London’s most famous theatres including Royal Albert Hall, Sadler’s Wells and Her Majesty’s to name a few. She has also travelled the world, dancing in Florida, New York and Paris. In 2012, she made Essex her home with her partner Lewis and their two children, Lacey-Mae and Leo. She is thrilled to be joining the team and can’t wait to welcome all her little stars to the magical world of babyballet®.
Miss Sarah began her dance training at the age of 4. She was later accepted into the National Theatre Ballet School’s Full Time Course in Melbourne, Australia where she received her Advanced Diploma of Dance (Elite Performance). Whilst at the NTBS Sarah performed in many performances both in the ballet and contemporary styles and danced under the direction of Beverly Jane Fry learning the RAD syllabus. Sarah moved to London in February 2016 and has combined the wide variety of syllabus and styles she has learnt over the years to become a diverse and passionate teacher.
