Baby Beats is an early years music class unlike any other in Cheshire and Staffordshire. We believe children are never too young to appreciate live instruments and different musical styles, and we know grown ups love this too! We provide a genuine musical experience for you and your child incorporating singing, listening, movement and developing musicality. With a range of live instruments for children to get their hands on, the class creates a great foundation for your mini musical maestros.

Ali plays violin, piano, guitar and sings. She’s participated in all manner of performances as a solo vocalist and with choirs, ensembles and in musical theatre. She studied for her MSc in Music Psychology researching what makes effective music teaching. She has worked extensively with children and young people including teaching and community development work within schools, colleges, universities and local authorities. Ali joined Baby Beats in 2017 and currently delivers our classes in Crewe.
Kath is an experienced musician and plays guitar, piano, keyboard, clarinet and recorder. She will be delivering classes in our North Staffs nurseries, taking over the class at Just Kidding Hanley and running our new Biddulph class.
Music is my life. I sing and play a variety of instruments, studied music at school and university, played in pop, rock, soul and jazz bands, and presented music shows on local radio. For many years I worked as a Manager at a local charity and provided music tuition in my spare time. I set up Baby Beats in Spring 2016 when I was on maternity leave after having my second little boy. I was looking for a music class I could take a baby and a 3 year old to. I wanted them to experience a range of musical styles and instruments, but nothing suited us. So I decided to set up a class myself!
