Inspired by Clement Clarke Moore's much-loved poem, we bring Christmas Eve to life in a new production featuring original music, skilful puppetry and a generous sprinkling of festive magic.   

Amber is six and loves reindeers! It’s Christmas Eve but Grandad is being extremely grumpy, and Amber’s favourite snow-globe gets broken. Then her world is turned topsy turvy by a surprise visitor and Amber begins an adventure she will never forget.

Join Amber on a festive journey like no other – after all, on the night before Christmas, surprises can happen!

The Night Before Christmas

We know it can be tough to find time for yourself when you’re juggling busy schedules and caring for your little one – that’s why our Family Dance and Movement class is the perfect solution. It’s a fun, active way for you to stay fit, be creative, and connect with your child. 

This class is designed for parents and caregivers who want to get a good workout in while having fun with their little ones, ages 10 months – 5 years. Wear your exercise clothes, bring your water bottle, and get ready to move to the beat! No dance experience needed, just a positive attitude and a love for staying active with your child.

Groove Together: Family Dance and Movement

Inspired by Sufi mystic and nomad Rumi, and the mesmerising whirling dervishes, evim [my home] is a magical and interactive performance for children aged 2 - 7 and their families.

Follow three wanderers as they search for belonging… in places, with people, or in a feeling… Twirl, whirl and play as the performers take you on a spellbinding journey to find a place to call home.

A wonderful introduction to dance theatre for young children, using captivating movement and enchanting music in this non-verbal and sensory show.

Once upon a time, a little old lady lived all by herself in her cosy cottage, but she wasn’t happy – her house felt just too small. Whatever could she do? Will the wise old man’s solution of bringing in a flappy, scratchy, greedy, noisy crowd of farmyard animals work?

Join us for this heart warming and hilarious adventure, full of beautiful puppets and enchanting songs. Written and illustrated by the unparalleled picture book partnership of Julia Donaldson and Axel Scheffler, and adapted for the stage by Olivier-nominated duo Barb Jungr and Samantha Lane.

A Squash and a Squeeze

It’s Alex’s birthday, but she does not want to go to her birthday party.

To get there she has to go through the front door, to the deep puddle at the end of the street, past the scary school gates and by the boring playground with the parents who never do anything fun. And she has to wear her dreaded pink dress, which is no good at all. Alex wants to be a knight, and knights don’t wear pink dresses…do they?

Touching, funny and utterly original, Freckle Productions’ delightful adaptation of Julia Donaldson and Axel Scheffler’s Stick Man is back in town!  

What starts off as a morning jog becomes quite the misadventure for Stick Man: a dog wants to play fetch with him, a swan builds a nest with him, and he even ends up on a fire! How will Stick Man ever get back to the family tree? 

This award-winning production, from the team behind Zog and Zog and the Flying Doctors, features a trio of top actors and is packed full of puppetry, songs, live music and funky moves.
