Artescape
Saturday arts workshops for children aged 5-11years. We are based in Islington and run during term time with a range of activities and skills. We also take groups on gallery visits and exhibit the children's work in local venues. We work with a range of materials, drawing, painting, printmaking, sculpture and animation for example. Artescape started in 1999 and remains a invaluable resource for local children.

Our oldest daughter (10) has been going since year 1. She loves it. Our youngest (5) has just started and she is also very keen. The curriculum is quite advanced with inspiration from visits to Tate, RA, Estorick etc. - and the kids love it.
This workshop is the BEST my daughters have attended. Lorraine is wonderful and has taught them real technical skills while making sure they have fun. She also takes the kids to art exhibitions. This is an absolute gem of a workshop, do not miss it if you live in Highbury, Islington Camden
Our daughter has been going to Artescape for the past year and absolutely loves it. Each project is fun & unique, the materials provided are superb, and the instructors are simply marvellous. I can’t say enough positive things, as this club is simply brilliant!
