Acorns

A Steiner school playgroup, offering both parent and child sessions and a drop-off playgroup. The Steiner approach aims to provide children with what they need to play freely and creatively together. Sessions are designed to be calm and peaceful, and each one involves some outdoor time, creative free play, and songs. For the parent and child sessions, organised activities are modelled by the adults, and children may choose to imitate or join in if they wish. For the drop-off playgroup, there is more emphasis on playing in nature, and children are expected to join in with activities.
