Dive under the sea in this fun creative camp to make your own 3D sea life aquarium with moveable parts!
What will you learn on this course? Bring your scuba gear and go fishing in this 3-day creative camp! Draw inspiration from our blue planet to make your very own paper aquarium; design fish, sea creatures and water plants to put in your handmade aquarium, and make moveable parts to play with. Learners will gain visual art, design and craft making skills in a range of 2D and 3D techniques, and will use a range of art equipment and materials to gain an understanding of creating artwork through different methods including drawing and sculpture. Who is this course for? This course is suitable for children aged 8 to 14 years. It is open to all ability levels and does not require any previous experience. Parents are not expected to accompany children on these courses. All our staff are DBS checked. The course is accessible for children of all abilities who can participate in practical art and craft activities. We provide a learning support worker in every session, and additional care can be arranged if necessary. A parent or carer may attend to assist the child if required; carers must book a complimentary ticket if attending a course to provide support. The room is wheelchair accessible. Age ranges are set carefully to take into account key age developments, materials being used and course stimulus. It is very important that age ranges are not too large or across key stages and therefore need to be adhered to. Do you need to bring anything? All course material and equipment are provided. Children should dress appropriately as some visual art workshops can get a bit messy. Please note that lunch is not provided. Children will need to bring their own lunch to eat on a supervised one-hour break. Are there any additional costs? There are no additional costs for this course. Who teaches this course?
