A wild winter adventure - welly hunting, wildlife, challenges and craft.
It's winter on the nature reserve, and we all need our wellies to keep us warm and dry! But how does the wildlife manage without them? Can you find all the wellies hidden around the nature reserve and discover the amazing ways the wildlife survives the winter weather? Join us for a fun packed day exploring the nature reserve with the help of our friendly learning team - follow the wild welly trail, complete the challenges, and design your own bird feeder to take home. There is lots of space to play and picnic, bring a packed lunch and make a day of it. Hot drinks and squash available for a small cash donation.
This event is suitable for families with children aged 4 to 11 years (younger siblings may also attend and do not need a ticket). All children must be accompanied by an adult. The event runs from 10am-2pm, please book your ticket online (places limited!) and arrive at a time that suits you within that window, last entry 1pm.
