Bank Holiday Sunday, Brearton Pleasure Ride. Brearton, Harrogate HG3 3DD

Come and ride in the beautiful countryside within the Mountgarret Estate, fields, lanes and tracks. Start between 09:30 -11:00am.
9 Miles approx with short route option of approx 5 miles, these distances could change once the route is marked out depending on weather/ground conditions.

There will be BBQ Refreshments CASH ONLY available on return.

Please follow the directions as below;-

Head towards the postcode, onto Brearton Lane from A61 or High Moor Lane from B6165.

Parking - the postcode will take you up the drive to South Susacres Farm, parking will be in the field on the right of the drive, the field is easier to access at the top of the drive.

RULES AND CONDITIONS OF ENTRY
 Entries are not refundable or transferable.

 Hard hats and suitable footwear must be worn at all times and all riders must have 3rd party liability insurance.
 All riders must report to the stewards prior to setting off at the marked start area.
 Good riding manners are requested at all times. Please be cautious when
overtaking others as they may be novice riders, or on young horses.
 As the going is dependant on weather conditions, Riders should take note of ground conditions and ride at an appropriate speed to mitigate the risk of slipping, falling or losing control of their horse/ pony.
 The route will be clearly signed with arrows and there will be stewards around the course.
 Anyone (including non-riding support crew) found to be in breach of the above
will be told to leave the site immediately and no refund of entry fee will be made.

 There will not be a toilet on site

Please note:

 Everyone must take all reasonable precautions to avoid and prevent accidents occurring and must obey the instructions of the organisers. Riding horses is a high-risk sport and riders taking part in this and other rides acknowledge this and do so at their own risk and that the organisers and land owners will not be accountable or responsible for any loss, damage or injury to rider, horse or equipment howsoever caused.
