Description

STAAR is a group of autistic people (plus their carers and supporters) in Redbridge providing support, advice and activities to over 200 members. STAAR is running a free weekly Lego club called ‘Designstaars’. The project will be co-managed by sessional workers and volunteers, including a fully qualified speech and language therapist who will be leading the club and supporting access. The young people will have access to an environment which is maximally enabling in which they can have fun creating Lego models alongside those with similar interests. The club welcomes all children at school or living in the London Borough of Redbridge.
