Hear Barry Speker OBE DL, as he shares his reflections and experiences of his 20 years in role as Deputy Lieutenant of the county of Tyne and Wear.

Barry Speker practised as a solicitor in Newcastle for 50 years, and for 31 of those years was also a judge. In 2002 Barry was appointed as Deputy Lieutenant of the county of Tyne and Wear.
