This 30-minute session, aimed at children, takes place in the Pleasure Ground Wood at Chirk Castle. Listen to a fascinating short talk then grab a pot and magnifying glass to take a closer look at the creepy crawlies you can find in the wood. Then have a go at sculpting your very own bug using clay to take home with you. Sessions take place at 11am and 2pm on 13, 15, 20 and 22 February on a first come, first served basis, limited to 10 children per session plus accompanying adults. See ticket office on arrival for details. Free activity, but normal admission prices apply. Free entry to National Trust members and under 5s.
