Description

Grab a free trail sheet and pencil from the ticket office and set out to explore the garden this half term. Make sure you keep your eyes peeled, collect all of the rubbings and spot signs of animal activity as you go. The cheeky squirrels love to run and hide, are you fast enough to spot them before they disappear into the trees? Watch out for the trail markers to find out some fun facts about the animals that live at Nostell and how they survive the cold winter weather.

Don’t forget to bring wellies and waterproofs to embrace the squelch as you jump in puddles and dart between the trees in the woodland adventure play area.

Ready to rest those legs or dodge a rain shower? Come and get crafty in the Orangery and make your very own woodland creature to take home with you.

The house will be open this half term so make tracks over there to complete your adventure (don't worry about muddy feet). Journey back in time to learn about the weird and wonderful pets that were owned by the Winn family. It's your mission to spot the animals which will be doing their best to hide. Watch out for tiny dogs, monkeys and even a pet squirrel.
