Greenwich, London – After a five-year hiatus, the beloved and madcap London Pantomime Horse Race is finally galloping back to London! On Sunday 15th December 2024, the streets of Greenwich will come alive with laughter, colour, and creativity as the 11th installment of this iconic festive event unfolds. Long-time organizer Mark Biddiss has finally answered the public's call to bring back this fan-favorite spectacle, promising a memorable day of fun and charity. This year’s theme, ‘United Neightions’, invites participants to represent various countries in an attempt to foster harmony and joy through the medium of comedy. Over 20 teams will don extravagant pantomime horse costumes, each uniquely designed to capture the spirit of their chosen nation while navigating the bustling streets of Greenwich in a race filled with hilarity and spirited competition.
The London Pantomime Horse Race is not just about the whimsy and wonder of outrageous outfits; it is a significant fundraising event for charity. All proceeds raised will support Great Ormond Street Hospital for Children, ensuring that this joyous occasion helps make a positive impact in the community.
