You don't need to think of yourself as "an artist" to join us.
In this free workshop you'll pick up real drawing techniques from celebrated nineteenth-century artists working from a clothed life model to explore tone, colour and media while discovering how drawing steadies a busy mind.
Deep concentration anchors your attention in the present and tips you into the state psychologists call flow: a simple, dependable way to ease stress and lift your mood. All levels welcome, whether it's your first time drawing or a long-loved practice, everyone can benefit from picking up a pencil and having a go!
This session will take place from 2 pm - 4 pm. Details of how to get to the Burrell and info on car parking can be found on our website.
