If you're looking for a fun and educational activity to keep the kids busy this half term, you can’t go wrong with London Zoo! With over 20,000 animals to see, there's sure to be something to capture their imagination. And with a host of interactive shows and events throughout the day, they'll never be bored. So if you're looking for a great day out for all the family, head to London Zoo.
See the capital city from above at the London Eye this half term. Enjoy stunning views of the cityscape from 135 metres in the air. On a clear day, you can see for miles in every direction. It's an excellent opportunity to teach your kids about perspective and scale. As they ride in one of the 32 capsules, they'll be able to see how the city looks from above and get a sense of its size and scope. Make a day of it with a visit to the nearby London Aquarium, Dungeons or Shrek Adventure.
The British Museum is home to one of the largest collections of works in existence. Its extensive collection of artefacts from around the world will surely capture kids' imaginations. The museum also offers a range of interactive activities and exhibitions. And if the weather is not too good, there are plenty of indoor spaces to explore. The Tower of London is an excellent place to take the kids this half term. It's a fascinating place with a rich history dating back over 900 years. The kids will love exploring the Tower, learning about the different people imprisoned there, and seeing the Crown Jewels. There are plenty of kid-friendly activities, such as tours, workshops, and treasure hunts. It’s located in the heart of London, so there's plenty to see and do nearby, including the Tower Bridge Experience.
