We know kids love farms, but what about throwing in an Adventure Park too?
We’ve put together a little taste of some of the finest on offer.
Wow! Have you seen the adventures at the award-winning Cannon Hall Farm?
This farm isn’t just about the animals or the tractor rides, the sheep or ferret racing, the farm shop or Lucky Pup Cafe.
It’s not just about the exciting Adventure Playground or fabulous Hungry Llama Indoor Play area.
Cannon Hall Farm is about a Family Day Out, packed with fun activities and adventures where the kids can let off steam, and the parents can sample the award-winning food sold on the farm.
On Piglet’s Adventure Farm, there are adventures galore!
If you prefer animal adventures, come and stroke the rabbits, guinea pigs, and chicks. The Kune Kune pigs love a good brush, and while you’re here, say hi to the alpacas. More animals live in the paddocks - or visit the Piglet Maternity Ward, where you’ll meet the piglets with their mum.
If you want BIG adventures, head for the pedal go-karts and tractors, explore trails; jump the highest on the Bouncy Pillows, and play a round of Crazy Golf!
Tackle the Olym-Pig Assault Course, or head to the Indoor Play Barn if it's raining.
Need to refuel after all that action? Choose from three themed cafes, and treat yourself to the famous Piggy Poo ice cream from the ice cream parlour.
Perfect for kids aged 1-11 years, Hasty’s Adventure Farm educates kids about modern farming with lots of fun and adventure!
Big paddocks full of animals are waiting to meet you, or visit the indoor barn, where you will find younger calves, lambs, and chicks.
Hasty’s Farm boasts one of the biggest outdoor play areas in East Anglia. Rope bridges, slides, tunnels, and climbing walls spread over three levels and four big towers, with a special area for toddlers.
Add go-karts, grass sleds, pedal tractors, and more, and you have all the ingredients for an adventure-filled Family Day Out.
National Forest Adventure Farm has loads of indoor and outdoor activities, whatever the weather!
Starting as the National Forest Maize Maze in 2004, it now includes 500 acres with a huge barn and paddocks full of traditional farm animals and a few reindeer.
Rides and encounters include petting guinea pigs, feeding lambs, and the essential tractor-trailer or bumpy barrel ride around the farm.
The giant indoor play barn has drop slides, brickworks, and an under-5s zone, while the outdoor Funfield continues the adventure with an assault course, crazy golf, a musical maze, and even a Jurassic fossil dig in the sandpit.
Refuel with good food from a selection of cafes, or bring your own to eat in the designated picnic area.
There are so many adventures waiting to happen on Putlake Farm in rural Dorset. Visit traditional horses, goats, sheep, and pigs, and why not try the petting area, where you can hold a guinea pig, groom a horse, bottle-feed a lamb, or even try milking a goat!
Lots of energy? Explore the outdoor play area with climbing frames, trampolines, go-karts, and bouncy Tractor-Trailer rides.
Putlake claims one of Dorset’s largest indoor play areas; a soft play area over three levels complete with zip wires, nets, slides, and a dedicated toddler zone. Relax with refreshments while the children play, or treat the whole family to a Dorset cream tea at Putlake’s Tearooms.
