The River Wye
Voted the nation’s favourite river in 2010, the Wye is also popular among anglers, and for good reason. Over 30 fish species have been found there, and it’s teeming with brown trout, grayling, salmon and barbel, making it the perfect place to cast a line with the whole family. Enjoy the beautiful scenery as it winds its way along the border between England and Wales and relax with a picnic.
Windermere, Lake District
Windermere is another fantastic option for a family fishing trip with its incredible views and plethora of fish. And when you need a break from all the excitement, take a stroll around the lake to enjoy the stunning scenery.
