Travel Back to Tudor London: A Family Adventure in Southwark
Let's Celebrate Black History Month! Join us for an exciting and interactive walking tour in the historic streets of Southwark during October half term. Step into Tudor London with Jane, daughter of black silk weaver, Reasonable Blackman. Help her catch the silk thief on this immersive walk.
Inspired by Claire Linney's book "Time Tub Travellers and the Silk Thief", this tour will transport you back 400 years to Tudor London. Experience what it was like to walk in the same places as the Southwark silk weaver, Reasonable Blackman, smell the not-so-pleasant smells of old London and embark on a thrilling adventure filled with riddles and clues. Will you be able to catch the silk thief and help Jane get back her father's stolen silks?
* Perfect for children aged 7-11, this walk combines history with storytelling in a fun and engaging way.
* Each child will receive a special goodie bag filled with surprises, including a signed copy of the Time Tub Travellers and the Silk Thief.
