Sling library - Hemel Hempstead

We're delighted to work with Summit Chiropractic to bring you a monthly library session. This drop-in session will offer support and advice on choosing a sling (baby carrier) or nappies, as well as helping you fit your own items with confidence and comfort. Please pre-book your space. £2 donation with your booking fee helps towards covering our insurance and keeping us going! Every 3rd Wednesday at The Angels, Hitchin, 12pm-2.30pm Book at bringyourbaby.org From the award-winning creator of Bring Your Baby Guided London Walks, ‘Bring Your Baby Pub Quizzes’ are fun, brain-stimulating daytime parent socials, which take place all over London. the South East and The Midlands. Quizzes take a slower pace than traditional ones. We are parents ourselves, and understand juggling a ‘baby brain’ with baby distractions! We take two breaks to feed, change and chat, and questions are always repeated. Settle in with the picture round from 12pm, with a further five quiz rounds (including general knowledge, music, connection and themed) starting at 12.30pm until 2.30pm. Saturday's - George's School (Harpenden): Mega Kickers (5-8 years) 11.05 - 11.55

5 to 8 years old (Parent participation not required but parents/carers are required to stay with their children) Mega Kickers is the culmination of the preceding age groups. It brings together all the skills learnt and introduces them into real football matches. Children continue to develop the social and cognitive skills as well as honing their football skills, putting them to use at the end of each session during the 20-minute match. There is a focus on fair play, as well as a focus on knowledge, understanding and practical application of the rules of play. Key Features: - Children play independently of their parent/guardian - 50-minute class - Weekly classes - Two coaches for up to 18 children (max) - Each new starter receives a football kit - 8 unique badges to collect across the Mega Kickers programme Progressive Challenges and Matches More touches on the ball lead to faster and greater skill gain. Every child has their own ball throughout the session and our games are specifically designed for maximum touches of the ball. The games are progressively challenging enabling new skills to be learnt each lesson, however children are able to work within their ability. Children become more competitive at this age and are taught to challenge themselves and one another. The match becomes the climax of the session and is the perfect outlet for channelling children’s competitive energy as well as transferring their skills into a real world situation.
