Be Active Be Strong




This is parent-focused, baby friendly exercise!

Our park classes are fun, effective, interval training for post natal fitness levels and up. Babies are welcome and stay in the pram. Older children who can join in or safely entertain themselves are often in class too!

Bring a yoga mat or towel and a bottle of water.

Exercises vary each week and are tailored to your fitness level. MOST will do low impact exercises but high impact options will be provided for fit peeps.

  • Katie Fri 21st Jul 2017 Attended with 9 month-old A place where you can exercise whilst your baby sleep (or crawls / cries / plays, anything goes)! The class is fast past and has low and high impact exercises, my LO was crawling so had to miss a few sections chasing after him but still felt the burn and was aching in all the right places the next day. Would recommend :)

We both had a great time and I felt like I really worked hard but I could rest whenever I needed and I never felt pressured to do anything. Lauren made sure that we all had options of low impact exercises too. All is all great class and would recommend it for other mums too.

Lauren is a great instructor who knows how to get the best out of you as well as knowing the times when you're not at full steam. Each set of activities has a high and lower impact version so that you can do the one that fits with your fitness level, fora while i has a weak knee and this was always taken into account. Added to this at those moments where the little ones need your attention there is the time to do this (or even involve them) I'd recommend this class to everyone

It's so hard to find a high intensity workout class you can do with kids in tow and this ticks all the right boxes. Lauren is a great instructor and can tailor the workout to suit your individual needs, and never makes you feel bad when you can't do something!! And it doesn't even matter if you need to take a time out to feed/change the baby. She even incorporates babies into some of the exercises to get them involved and keep them entertained- all for less than £10 a class! Her motivation and enthusiasm are infectious!
