A snapshot of the Rawnsley's private lives and holidays in Europe displayed in the house where they lived.

Displayed for the first time, this collection of watercolours and small black and white photographs will give you a glimpse into the the private lives of the Rawnsleys.

Discover a snapshot of genteel tourism in the mountain resorts of the Alps and the Dolomites, while the shadow of the first world war loomed over Europe.

This event is free, but normal admission charges apply for the venue.

Children must be accompanied by an adult.

On private road about 300metres (0.2miles) uphill from Inn at Grasmere / Emma's Dell in village centre. Blue Badge parking. Not accessible by mobility scooter. Accessible toilet on ground floor. Induction loop. Steps to upper floor of house.
