Our club meets once a month. We teach children aged 6+ how to speed jump, Double Dutch and do tricks with jump ropes. We encourage pupils to learn new tricks during our workshops but also practicing them at home. Skipping is a low cost sport that can be practiced pretty much anywhere. It has many health benefits; it helps improve cardio-respiratory endurance, fitness, flexibility, co-ordination, balance and rhythm.
We work closely with other skipping clubs across the country and give the children regular opportunities to represent our club in events like the National Jump Rope Championships.
