TinyTalk

Baby signing classes by TinyTalk teach you how to communicate with your baby before they can talk, in a fun and relaxed environment.

Award winning classes that help bridge the communication gap between parents and their babies by teaching sign language in a fun interactive way. The hour long classes use the first half hour singing well known nursery songs with signing integrated throughout as well as sensory toys. The second half of the class is social time where parents get to know one another over a hot drink and biscuits while the babies play with toys.

I started taking my daughter to TinyTalk in Whitton just as an excuse to get out of the house when she was 6 months old and 10 months later we're still going. Serena brings a lot of fun and energy to each class which the babies really respond to. The classes are nicely broken down into singing, sensory, playing with musical toys and then at the end whilst the babies play with the toys and interact the Mum's (or Dad's or Grandparents etc.) get to have a chat, cup of tea and a biscuit. I've really enjoyed learning the signs and it's great to see when a baby understands what your signing. I would highly recommend trying out one of Serena's classes.

I started the classes when my little one was 3 months (she is 14 months now) I've found it to be a lovely thing to look forward to each week. It's a bit of singing, a bit of sensory & a bit of play at the end with a cuppa and biscuit for the parents. For the first months it was just a nice, gentle, sociable thing to do that we both enjoyed (esp the biscuit & cuppa at the end ha). Then at 11 months she suddenly started using the signs which was really exciting. Her favourites are dog & bird (we see them everywhere now!) & please/thank you (she's using that lots to show what she wants). It's helped show me that she understands more than I thought & has kept her frustration at bay because she can communicate what she wants even though she can't speak yet. Being an hour long, the classes are good value for money too.
