TinyTalk

We teach British Sign Language signs to help you & your little one communicate through sign language before they can talk - reducing frustration for both of you. We learn signs around a different theme based on your daily routine each week & sing popular nursery rhymes to help you practise. Each week we have a different fun sensory activity including mirrors, bubbles, scarves & lots more! During the current situation classes are streamed live online. Each class includes an invaluable chance to make new friends, share advice & experiences! Classes - babies birth - 18m; Toddlers 18m - 3yrs

TinyTalk is simply brilliant. Every week we have so much fun learning new signs through play, interaction, dance, and songs, and after only a short time we hava already started picking up new communication skills. The classes are structured fantastically with sensory time after learning, and a chance at the end of the class to chat to other parents and allow the children to play, plus Catherine makes a great cuppa!

We have been attending Tiny Talk classes for over a year since my little boy was 4 months old with Catherine. He started with the baby classes and has recently moved on to the toddler class. We love our tiny talk sessions. Catherine is a fantastic teacher and so friendly and calm. I’ve particularly been impressed with the cup of tea at the end and time to play, talk and make friends. It has been wonderful for us as a family that, through tiny talk signs, our little boy has been able to communicate himself to us in a way that we don’t think he would have been able to otherwise. We love seeing him learn and use the signs and it’s very cute when he has his own version, too! Other parents often comment, if they haven’t used sign themselves, and it really is amazing to see all the children from the classes using their skills. It has also been great for us to communicate with him and know that he understands; it can prevent upset - such as the “all gone/finished” sign that is not only useful after snacks but I was able to use after vaccinations to explain that jabs were over. We would recommend Tiny Talk to anyone.
