Freyja Winterson is a theatre director and practitioner, she is co-artistic director of Yet Another Carnival and Youth Theatre Programme Director at the Orange Tree Theatre. Currently, Freyja is developing A Dad’s Guide to Losing A Child with YAC and is directing Riot Act, a devised play in a Council Chamber as part of People Power Passion, Luton’s pilot year of culture. She has been lead artist for large-scale, community led arts projects including the community launch of Storyhouse and When The Light Goes Out for Cheshire East Council.
Maia is a designer, maker, director, and performer of puppetry and enjoys collaborating on puppetry projects to create exciting and imaginative new work. Maia is also the founder and Artistic Director of House of Stray Cats (HOSC), a theatre company that produces original and engaging, puppet led performances. In 2018, Maia was selected as the first Puppetry Consultant as part of the Old Vic 12.
As director, productions include: Tobacco Road (Edinburgh Fringe/Vault Festival/ArtisTree Festival Hong Kong); Alice in the Cuckoo’s Nest (Librarian Theatre/UK tour); Zero for the Young Dudes! (Orange Tree Theatre/National Theatre); What We Leave Behind (Roundhouse); Thisbe (Door Ajar/UK tour); All Quiet on the Western Front (Pleasance, SoHo Playhouse NYC). Roberta has assisted at the RSC and is an associate artist of Incognito Theatre and National Youth Theatre
Tom Foskett-Barnes is a London-based composer for film and theatre. Film credits include the Academy Award-nominated Black Sheep (dir. Ed Perkins, 2017) and Four Quartets (dir. Marco Alessi, 2017, Berlin International Film Festival, Special Mention from the Crystal Bear Jury) and toni_with_an_i (dir. Marco Alessi, BBC4). For stage, Tom has composed and served as musical director for productions of Anna Bella Eema (Arcola), Pufferfish (VAULT Festival), Treasure Island (Arts Ed), Twelfth Night and Othello (Leicester Square Theatre).
