About the Organiser

The Bright Emporium

Est. 2015

The Bright Emporium is a space like no other. Our walls are adorned with books, so you’d be forgiven for thinking we are a library — although there is definitely nothing quiet about us! We are a space for creatives, the dreamers and the fun seekers. For children who want to try new things and meet new friends — to those who want a place to be themselves. We are a destination for the next generation of creators, not users; the pioneers of tomorrow. There is a workshop for everyone ranging from 1-6 years old. We are a place of discovery and exploration, so be a Bright Spark and join us.

  • Lucia Attended last month My daughter and I really enjoyed the art class this Saturday. Nice venue, fun art project and wonderful books! The ladies who run the class are lovely. My daughter has already asked to come back! :-)
  • Ursula Attended with a 1-year-old last month The class was really well set up and an appropriate activity for the children. However there is very little interaction from the facilitators.
  • Anonymous Attended with a 2-year-old in December Bright emporium is a fantastic venue
  • E Attended in December I have taken my daughter to many toddler classes, this was one of the best classes. Cat and Hutch were very good at involving children and helpin them improve their imagination. It was fabulous.

  • Anonymous Attended in October Took my 4 year old son and he loved it! We both had lots of fun meeting the author, meeting other children and parents and getting messy trying to create our own superheroes inspired by the story we read.
  • Elia Stuart Attended with a 5-year-old in October Gigi (age 5) loves this enchanting emporium of books and drama
Acting out stories with Cat and Hutch to listening to authors new stories and drawing with illustrators. Every kid should be inspired and this is the place. Who knows your child may be the futures next author/writer and this is where it all started “once upon a time...”
