Ali Golding is a highly qualified and experienced dance professional, dance movement scientist, researcher, lecturer and teacher. She holds an MSc in Dance Science, a PG Cert in Special Educational Needs and is trained to evaluate and teach Neurophysical Psychology within an educational setting. Candice is a qualified Ante and Postnatal Yoga teacher. She began practising yoga 12 years ago as an antidote to her fast-paced career as a magazine journalist and quickly fell in love with it. Back in London, she finally took the plunge and completed her 200YTT with Yogarise in Peckham. Originally from South Africa, she is a mum to two young boys and loves to teach locally here in Forest Hill. Her classes are fun, upbeat and grounded in philosophy. Expect to leave feeling lighter!
What makes us move the way we do? What is it that impacts the quality of our movement? How does this effect our mood Through Gemma's learning and work at Darlington and then Trinity Laban, she understood that these questions are impossible to answer without a community around you to support your creativity. Since then she has channeled this into her practice and this has allowed her to support communities across all ages and abilities. Yoga and Pilates are her other passions and has been continual support for her dancing career.
Victoria is particularly passionate about improving postural awareness and correcting alignment, due to her early career background working in an office. Since training with Body Control Pilates over 5 years ago, Victoria has a keen interest in Pregnancy preparation and Post natal recovery; having 2 pre school children she knows how challenging this process can be on the body. Victoria’s aim is to give clients confidence in their pregnant body, but enable them to feel stronger, toned and more prepared for labour, and less susceptible to aches and pains.
