Come along to a Small Talk session for fun activities for you and your young child, and useful advice from child development experts.

Small Talk sessions are fun, activity-filled events for parents of children aged 0-5. Run by National Literacy Trust experts, come along to learn about how best to support your child's learning from home and take part in some fun, educational activities too.

This Small Talk event will be taking place at the Treehouse Children's Centre in Stoke-on-Trent, where we will be linking with the baby massage and health visitor clinic. All children who attend will get a free Small Talk goodie bag (which includes a free book!), come along and get involved in the fun.

About the Organiser

National Literacy Trust
The National Literacy Trust looks to build language and communication skills to help every child have the best chance in life. We do this through a range of projects. Small Talk is a pilot project from the National Literacy Trust, run with the Department for Education (DfE). We want to support parents to chat, play and read with their child at home as much as possible. Story Quest is based in Stoke-on-Trent and encourages families to get out into their local areas through stories and activities.
