MiniJam is as much about the coffees and natter before/after class as it is about the interactive music and sensory experience for the babies and children.

We have pooled some of London’s top session musicians to create funky versions of nursery rhymes to jam along to.

We also do Child-friendly gigs to get your friYAY groove on.

You can chat, you can feed, you can change nappies, you can leave half way through.

No judgment or protocol here - just really varied music to listen to whilst your little one takes in new genres of from gypsy jazz to Ibiza chillout.

Magical, Musical Story Time | CLAPHAM JUNCTION

**Toddlers and Preschoolers** #Let their little minds run wild ##40 mins of imaginary play set to live music Come and immerse yourselves in an interactive, magical, musical story time. Professional actors and musicians will run a 40 minute session that will get everybody's imaginations exploding. ###What to expect### - Some of your all time favourite stories come to life as read and accompanied by our professional actor and musician - Musical games and play acting - Lots of movement and activity - Parent and group participation as well as encouraged group play for your little ones - Laughter and silliness from start to finish ##_Suitable for toddlers and preschoolers._ The dynamic and structure of this class is aimed at children aged 2-5 years. However, younger siblings are welcome to join in the fun. Fun-filled, tactile and sensory - MiniJam's professional musicians are instilling rhythm and musicality from birth. ###What to expect### The scientific research into developmental benefits of music for young minds is astounding. If you're hoping to raise a baby genius, we encourage you to book for the term to best benefit from our progressive programme. **MIXED AGES CLASS** If you have more than one child to care for or coming as a mixed age group, this is a great class for you. Or perhaps the timings just suit you better! We’ll cater this class to suit the little Minijammers in attendance. ###What to expect### The scientific research into developmental benefits of music for young minds is astounding. If you're hoping to raise a baby genius, we encourage you to book for the term to best benefit from our progressive programme. Drop ins and sporadic attendees will certainly have a giggle and learn lots from the session as well. ##This class will feature;## - Extra support for carers who have two children in attendance - Some focussed time on the mat alongside lots of free play to allow space for your little movers and shakers to stretch their legs (a winner for those caring for 2 small people!) - Different percussion instruments each week - Exposure to live instruments from our professional performing musicians - Different sensory play items each week - Focused activities geared towards fine and gross motor skills development - Lots of social interaction and learning through play - Bags of fun and banter throughout! *I would teach children music, physics, and philosophy; but most importantly music, for the patterns in music and all the arts are the keys to learning - Plato* ##_Suitable for newborns right up to 4 years._ CHECK THIS OUT

The teacher is almost the best bit of this class - which is itself very fun. I’ve been to sessions with other people and wouldn’t have gone back but this teacher is the bees knees. I’ll be sad not to return (baby starting nursery).
