Breaking Barriers is an organisation challenging the barriers to inclusion for Disabled children and young people, and adults with additional social and communication access requirements. Breaking Barriers aims to support, listen to and reassure parents; promote, improve & advance the emotional wellbeing of parents, carers & families of disabled people of all ages; promote equality of opportunity for all sectors of the Community; offer tailor made training, raise awareness, promote inclusion & social acceptance; and signpost Parents & Carers to relevant local Services. Breaking Barriers also supports Adults with Asperger's by facilitating a monthly support group called ABAG - Adult Bolton Asperger's Group.
