The North London Conservatoire was established in 1995 and has gained an outstanding reputation for musical excellence through its teaching of children of all abilities. Colourstrings is a fully-integrated approach, based on the traditional Hungarian Kodály Method. Children learn all the basics of music through a variety of activities, including songs, rhymes, games, listening, movement to music, percussion and dancing. Instrumental tuition is offered usually starting from 5-7 years (violin, viola, cello, bass, guitar or piano) for Kindergarten graduates.

There are plenty of sensory activities to explore: Instruments, playdough, multi-sensory fabrics, a light tent and make-your-own den; as well as trays of messy play and an activity to make and take home to play with your baby. Take your time and choose as much or as little as you like. You can join in the circle singing session led by Early Years teacher Lydia Bird and her own Little Bird. This ticket includes a free beer from the Small Beer Brew Co. The beers are low alcohol and can help boost breastmilk production. You can drink it in the session or take it home. Please drink responsibly!
