Unique award-winning educational classes for kids age 2ish-4. We select two great books each week and build a lively sessions around them giving children a fun and active start to letters and phonics. We also enjoy fabulous art and crafts which are age appropriate for little hands, all inspired by our books. The North London Conservatoire was established in 1995 and has gained an outstanding reputation for musical excellence through its teaching of children of all abilities. Colourstrings is a fully-integrated approach, based on the traditional Hungarian Kodály Method. Children learn all the basics of music through a variety of activities, including songs, rhymes, games, listening, movement to music, percussion and dancing. Instrumental tuition is offered usually starting from 5-7 years (violin, viola, cello, bass, guitar or piano) for Kindergarten graduates.
