The North London Conservatoire was established in 1995 and has gained an outstanding reputation for musical excellence through its teaching of children of all abilities. Colourstrings is a fully-integrated approach, based on the traditional Hungarian Kodály Method. Children learn all the basics of music through a variety of activities, including songs, rhymes, games, listening, movement to music, percussion and dancing. Instrumental tuition is offered usually starting from 5-7 years (violin, viola, cello, bass, guitar or piano) for Kindergarten graduates.

Art, craft and story sessions from 6 months to 5 years. Our fun activities are planned to develop skills and techniques and involve sensory art to stimulate the youngest children. Led by two experienced primary school teachers with art and early years specialism. Enjoy arts and crafts based on picture books and recommended texts in a relaxed and friendly setting. After enjoy a hot drink and chat with other carers as your children play and make new friends, while we take care of the 'mess'! Take home a piece of art work every week.
