Join us at the Make Space at Colab for monthly sewing sessions and other crafts.

Textile tutor, Karen from Let's Make Art has devised these sessions to teach kids simple sewing skills other crafts.
This July we will show you how to make and take the following;

Saturday July 21st - Make a Super Cute Kawaii Big Felt Plushie

Suitable for kids over 8 years old - this is a drop off session, please make sure your child is happy to be left.
Karen has a BA Hons Degree in Textiles and Fashion and has over 16 years’ experience teaching and is CRB checked.
Free drinks and snacks and guaranteed fun.
Only ten places per session so book early.

Meet the Team

Karen Davies
Co Founder and curator

Karen is an artist and designer. She came to Bristol to study a degree in Textiles and Fashion and never left. With over 12 years’ experience of teaching art at reception and secondary level, her previous role was artist-in-residence at Henbury School in the Art and Textiles department. Karen has extensive experience of managing events and workshops for both businesses and registered charities.

We are an Independent arts organisation based in Bristol. We organise high quality events and provide a wide variety of well-resourced art workshops that are enjoyed by all ages and abilities. We enjoy coming up with unique ways for people to unleash their creativity We pop up in a variety of venues from schools, cafes, galleries and museums to parks and festivals.
