Online Yoga for Kids - Live Stream

Yoga for 6 - 10 years

Email for later

Specialised sessions focussing on the benefits of yoga, mindfulness and meditation for children, supporting their development.

Yoga for Kids classes normally taking place weekly at Jacksons Lane will streamed online from your home via Zoom in a small group, max. 8 children. We meet the children where they are and take them on a yoga adventure.

After introductions and a gentle warm up, we will follow a story (often book led), involving shapes, games, colours, sounds, emotions, movement, concentration and rest.

We will be focusing on the benefits of yoga, mindfulness and meditation for children, aiding their physical, intellectual, social, emotional and spiritual development. Classes will be mat based.

We welcome parents involvement in home practice and are happy to share books, songs and shapes.

April 2019

Attended with a 24-month-old
We attended a taster session at Highgate library a few weeks ago and my two-year old son loved it... And so did I! I hadn't expect him to be able to focus for this long but he really engaged with the teaching and was trying to copy the pauses (more or less successfully). The teacher is amazing and the kids responded really well to her. I would recommend to anyone looking for a yoga class for their child, and to everyone looking for something fun and relaxing to do with their toddler. We'll definitely go again!
