Interactive drama workshops that include immersive games that open up new worlds and characters from the story of the week.
Each week we will explore a new story, bringing to life the world and characters within it.
Using new and classic drama games, a few props, materials and music to aid us and, most importantly, your children's imaginations, we will follow the story and see where it takes us.
Our workshops are focused on encouraging creative play, building confidence, and engaging in the literature that we bring to life.
As we say at Cat & Hutch, "open a book to open a world".

Cat & Hutch was formed by Katrina and Rebecca in 2014 with the intention of inspiring children to read by bringing children's books to life through interactive shows and workshops. Since forming, we have held our events at venues across London and have had positive feedback from children, parents and teachers alike. We hold regular drama workshops at the Bright Emporium in collaboration with Bright Literary Agency, bringing Bright books to life. We also do seasonal storytelling events at Herne Hill Market and recently performed two shows in Station Hall for National Storytelling Week.
Katrina has been working with children as a theatre practitioner since 2012. She has worked with companies including Polka Theatre, Theatre Exchange and Magical Quests. Katrina loves inspiring children to read and helping them unleash their creativity and imagination.
Rebecca has worked as a practitioner since 2013, working with companies including Science Boffins, Hackney Pirates and John Kirk Storytelling. Rebecca loves working with children and playing different characters with them, helping their confidence and creativity to grow.
