‘Bring Your Baby’ Guided London Walks

Up to 5 years

Bring Your Baby Guided London Walks have been sensitively devised to suit parents and carers of even the tiniest babies to enjoy guided local history walks with their pram or sling. Each walk has been planned so that you can stop whenever you like to feed and change - without the stress of feeling you are holding up the group. There is also always a stop for coffee and snacks. Because every participant brings their baby, patience and baby’s needs are at the forefront of each walk. Your trained walking guide, Lucy Madison, is also mum to 1 year-old Evan.

Incredibly interesting and unique way to spend a few hours and to learn more about the local area. Welcoming, kind and attentive to baby's needs. Intellectually stimulating too.

Bring-Your-Baby Guided History Walk - STOKE NEWINGTONOutside Abney Park Cemetery Egyptian Gates
Loved the guided walk. Lucy had clearly put a lot of effort into the tour content and it was very informative. I did the Stoke Newington one and will be booking her other tours too. Definitely recommend.

Thank you Dora! You were a brilliant attendee, with lots of questions to keep me on my toes and some of your own stories that I can add! Really looking forward to seeing you next time. This is all I managed to find on the clock so far: https://www.geograph.org.uk/photo/4524454

Trained Walking Guide

As well as being a trained walking guide and local historian, I have a background in Primary School teaching so I am used to leading large groups! As mum to 1 year-old Evan, I have taken part in all sorts of parent and baby classes, but avoided activities like guided walks where bringing a baby might not seem appropriate to the rest of the group. However, I really missed the stimulation I got from learning. This year I hit upon the idea that providing stress-free, baby-friendly guided history walks was missing from the parent and baby market, and that I could be the one to fill that gap.
