Art Workshops for children with their parents and carers.

We run weekly family art workshops most Wednesday’s morning during term time where we will be exploring our creativity as a family. Our family sessions happen in the mornings so you can just pop in after a school run and or start your day with your child creatively!

These workshops are for children and their parents/carers to participate in different art activities and  learn fun new art ideas that they can also do together at home.

Our Workshop cover but are not limited to:

Drawing (graphite, pencil, sharpie, water colour pencils, pastels)

Painting (acrylics, watercolour, ink)

Printing (relief printing, linocut, mono-printing, screen printing)

Mixed media
Children cannot be left alone. We advise the wearing of ‘messy’ clothes, but we have aprons to put over clothes too.

Our principles are founded on inclusion so children and adults with SEN and learning difficulties are always welcome.

Adult and child tickets cost £5  and there is an extra charge of £2.00 for any extra siblings, please contact us for any special arrangements. You can book as full term and enjoy 20% discount or just pay for single session.

Barkingside Art Club offers a warm and welcoming space which nourishes creativity and bonds within families. Our weekly art class open up the world of art to families, giving the chance to explore different art materials and new creative techniques.

My children (5, 10) really enjoy the club. The teacher is brilliant and very passionate about art. I'm so pleased to be able to give my children the opportunity to use good quality art materials and learn how to use them effectively. Highly recommend the sessions to parents of young children.

Barkingside Art Club
Barkingside Art Club is an exciting new venture designed to bring us closer together as a community. The club provides a supportive space for local creatives, artists and art lovers to meet regularly with one another and share ideas. It is a friendly and enriching environment which hosts workshops and exhibitions thereby promoting each individual’s business. Local creatives will also be given the opportunity to volunteer in helping children with special needs flourish through creative activities. Our artistic approach to teaching and learning is focussed on using art for a good cause.
