We are an intergenerational baby and toddler group, based in an old people’s home. The group takes place in the residents’ lounge. We chat to the residents and there are toys, books and crafts for the children, which help them to interact with the residents too. Drinks and snacks are provided for all children and adults. We all sing songs at the end of the session. It’s a great way to meet other families and also a lovely way to feel part of the community and to give something back to the community.

I’ve been with my youngest to this group and found it really lovely. The organisers are very approachable and welcoming. Both me and my daughter got a lot out of spending time with the residents in the home. And the residents clearly looked forward to us coming.
We have loved going to Ages Assemble - lovely crowd of people, very relaxed vibe and great to interact with the residents. It's nice to go to a group that's a bit different from the norm, and mutually beneficial for all parties. Would recommend - a real highlight of my little one's first year!
Such a lovely group! Everyone so welcoming and friendly and it’s such a great initiative.
